SAP TechEd 2012 Las Vegas, SAP’s premier technical conference, is rapidly approaching, and given SAP’s accelerated pace of solution development and delivery, attendance is sure to be strong — with SAP pros taking advantage of the many hands-on workshops and demo-driven lectures to fine-tune their SAP skills and get up to speed on the latest advances in SAP analytics, NetWeaver, HANA and mobility technologies.
In addition to its educational programs, TechEd is also a high-profile venue during which SAP is known to drop a few big news announcements.
Financial pundits forecast that approximately 63.5 million iPads will be sold this year worldwide (a 50% increase over last year), and industry analysts have crowned analytics/BI the top technology for 2012 and the foreseeable future.
As the industry leader in analytics business software with more than 17,000 iPads deployed to its employees — and a publicly stated policy of running SAP on SAP — SAP’s personal stake (not including revenue growth goals) in developing the fastest way to get analytics on the iPad is, to say the least, sizable.
